Bárbara is a student in of Civil Protection and Territorial Management at the Geography Department, University of Minho, and works as a GIS technician at ESRI – Portugal, in the Defense, Maritime, and Security sector. Her scientific interests include GIS, Civil Protection, Geography, Land Planning and Management, Defense and Security, Creative Tourism, and GIS in education.
Carla Rouceiro has a Master's Degree in Geography, in the area of Territorial Planning and Management, from the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal (2021). She also has a degree in Geography and Planning from the same university (2018). Her master’s dissertation, entitled “Resident’s perception of tourism in Arcos de Valdevez” allowed her to apply in a more practical way the knowledge acquired both in her bachelor’s and master’s degree, namely on the fields of Statistics and Cartography. Her main scientific interests are Sustainable Tourism and Cultural and Creative Tourism.
Ângela Ferreira is a senior technician at the Municipality of Amares, Portugal. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Geography from the University of Minho. Her main research interests include Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Cultural and Creative Tourism. Braga.
Virginia is a student in Civil Protection and Territorial Management at the Geography Department, University of Minho and works at the National Republican Guard – Nature and Environment Protection Service as a Forest Guard. Her scientific interests include land planning and management, civil protection, and environmental preservation.
Sara Cunha is a Geographer currently serving at Felgueiras City Council, Portugal, where she leads municipal GIS initiatives/project. She holds a master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems and Spatial Planning from the University of Porto, Portugal (2010). Her principal areas of scientific interest include Municipal GIS, Urban Planning, Urban Mobility and Smart Territories
Diana Mendes holds a degree in History, a post-graduate degree in Communication Sciences, and a Master's degree in Cultural Heritage from the University of Minho, where she is currently a PhD candidate in History funded by the FCT. She is a researcher at Lab2PT/In2PAST and a member of the CRICULT COST Action (CA24125). Her main research interests include the application of digital technologies to heritage, community engagement, digital narratives, and heritage education.
Maria João Pires Martins holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in History from the University of Minho and is currently a doctoral candidate in History at the same institution. Her PhD project, funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT), focuses on the history and heritage of energy and lighting in the Minho region. Her research interests lie in contemporary history, particularly in the study of material transformations and technological development. She has a special interest in the history of lighting, railways, hospital construction, and industrial heritage
